Behind the Poll
Some people believe that Russia is pushing for world dominance. They argue that Russia’s recent actions, such as their involvement in the Syrian conflict and their annexed Crimea, show that they are trying to expand their territory and control more land. Additionally, they point to Russia’s large military force and stockpile of nuclear weapons as evidence that Russia is preparing for war.
However, others argue that Russia is not pushing for world dominance. They say that Russia’s actions are defensive in nature and that they are simply trying to protect their own interests. They point to the fact that Russia has withdrawn from some territories, such as Georgia, as evidence that they are not interested in expanding their territory.
Both sides of the argument have valid points. It is true that Russia has been involved in some conflicts recently, but it is also true that they have withdrawn from other areas. Additionally, Russia does have a large military force, but so do many other countries. It is difficult to say.
